The Rainwell RFD sets a new level for rainwater tank performance. Its innovative rainwater filtering and diversion system creates better solutions to make rainwater tank ownership safer and easier.
The Rainwell RFD simply fits to a downpipe at the same level as the rainwater tanks capacity level to provide, low maintenance rainwater filtering, superior mosquito prevention and rainwater tank inlet and overflow functions.
Rainwater tanks are ideal breeding grounds for mosquitoes and to prevent them from becoming a health hazard, rainwater tank systems must have mosquito-proof screens on all openings. Regular maintenance is required to prevent mosquito-proof screens from blocking, which will lead to water loss, property damage and ponding for mosquito breeding sites. Maintenance may also require the use of a ladder and difficult procedures, which can be time consuming and dangerous.
The Rainwell RFD replaces the problematic mosquito-proof screening with two easy-lift-out, low-maintenance mosquito-proof screens in one readily accessible location. Also, the inlet leaf-strainer opening can now be securely covered to prevent accidental entry and sunlight entering which promotes algae growth.
Rainwater tanks with an overflow outlet to the stormwater system are an environmental risk, if the storage water became contaminated, it can overflow into our natural waterways and pollute them. The Rainwell RFD isolates the storage water when the rainwater tank is full and diverts only filtered rainwater to our natural waterways.
The Rainwell RFD system replaces rainwater tank overflow plumbing with a single pipe connection to the rainwater tank, making it a simple and cost-effective solution for rainwater tank installation. Installation savings a further increased for remote rainwater tank positioning and multiple downpipe connection.
